The Office of Emergency Communications is pleased to announce that the application period has opened for eligible public safety answering points (PSAPs) to apply for grants under the competitive Fiscal Year 2027 PSAP Grant Program. The Wisconsin Department of Military Affairs has been allocated $18 million for this year’s PSAP grant program. Grant eligibility criteria, allowable and unallowable expenses are governed by Wisconsin Administrative Code Chapter DMA 2, as recommended by the State 9-1-1 Subcommittee.

Applications for this grant opportunity are due by August 25, 2026. Designated PSAPs that meet the eligibility criteria established by administrative code are eligible to apply for allowable expenses under the grant program.
