The Office of Emergency Communications is pleased to announce that the application period has opened for eligible public safety answering points (PSAPs) to apply for grants under the competitive Round 2 Fiscal Year 2026 PSAP Grant Program. The Wisconsin Department of Military Affairs has been allocated $18 million for this year’s PSAP grant program. There is $4 million in FY2026 funding that is remaining for this second round of grants. Grant eligibility criteria, allowable and unallowable expenses are governed by Wisconsin Administrative Code Chapter DMA 2, as recommended by the State 9-1-1 Subcommittee.
Applications for this grant opportunity are due by Feb. 19, 2026. Designated PSAPs that meet the eligibility criteria established by administrative code are eligible to apply for allowable expenses under the grant program.
