The Office of Emergency Communications (OEC) is pleased to announce plans for several NextGen9-1-1 (NG911) outreach sessions throughout 2024, as well as two upcoming grant workshops for stakeholders preparing to apply for Fiscal Year 25 (FY25) grants under the Chapter DMA 2 PSAP and NG911 GIS grant programs.

2024 NG911 Outreach Sessions

The purpose of these sessions is to provide updated information on the Wisconsin NG911 transition to inform all emergency communications stakeholders on the statewide implementation progress and lessons learned so far. Stakeholders may RSVP to attend in-person at one of the scheduled sessions and attend the remaining sessions virtually.

  • Tuesday, April 9th – Mauston, WI (Juneau County)
  • Thursday, July 18th – Merrill, WI (Lincoln County)
  • Week of October 7th – East Central Wisconsin area (final date/location to be confirmed)

NG911 Grant Workshops

OEC will be hosting two grant workshops to provide a comprehensive walkthrough of the respective FY25 Chapter DMA 2 PSAP and NG911 GIS grant programs, including insightful application tips and frequently asked questions.
