MADISON, Wis. – The Office of Emergency Communications (OEC) is pleased to announce the award of 19 grant projects totaling $5,611,235.82 in state funding to local public safety answering points (PSAPs) across Wisconsin.
Funding will be used for various projects related to PSAP equipment upgrades, advanced training necessary for Next Generation 9-1-1 (NG9-1-1) implementation, and PSAP consolidation efforts. A summary of the grant awards is detailed below.

The PSAP Grant Program Fiscal Year (FY) 2024 state grant was authorized by Wis. Stats. § 256.35 (3s) (bm), with funds allocated to DMA from the Wisconsin Police and Fire Protection Fund.
